Sunday night Cale says he wants to build a workbench in the garage and I shocked him and said OK...he spends the next while trying to figure out how he make it with what's laying around.  This is what he came up with...

After we finished I went inside but could hear him banging around...I wanted to go see what he was up too but thought I'd not, nag, as he would say.  Just as I was getting ready to get him he came to get me...I have something to show you momba...I walk out and he had made me a sign and screwed it to the wall above the workbench.

Best day ever

Week 6 day 1...26 minutes = 2.04 miles. Yeah me!

Stuck on week 5

So I've been stuck on week 5 for about 2 weeks.  Can't seem to get it.  I let life get in the way of getting to the gym for a few days then the run is really hard.

On a brighter note from 5/1/12 to 6/7/12 I lost 16 lbs and 2.7 from my ugly BMI number:)  I'm doing the happy dance right now!

Week 5, Day 1

It's been 6 days and a trip to the beach with some friends so today was rough but I finished.

26 minutes = 1.90 miles

Week 4, Day 3

Holly Cow...today was hard - maybe because I ate a big lunch?  I don't know but I felt nauseous all the way home and for about 30 minutes after I got home.

BUT I FINISHED!!
26 minutes = 1.94 miles

Week 4, Day 2

25 minutes = 1.92 miles
Well, I still had to take a break at the end but I went a little further:)  Maybe on day 3 I won't have to stop!

Also, I have lost 11 lbs since I started and my calves are looking nice - If I don't say so myself (:

25 minutes = 1.87 miles

Today was HARD.  I had to take a break at the end to catch my breath!

Week 3, Day 3

I don't feel like i've improved my distance any but am able to jog 3 minutes at a time.   25 min = 1.73 miles

Week 2 day 1

20 minutes = 1.4 miles

Ohh... how I would love to be a runner.  This morning I completed week 1 of a couch potato to 5K program and it's going well.  My shins started hurting today but I iced them down so hopefully by Thursday they are good so I can start week 2:)

VACATION

I love vacation.  Corolla, NC this year with the Weddermann's and Adams'.  The weather has been great.  Sun shinning and not too hot.  It's nice.  It's relaxing.  It's just perfect.



to be in 7th grade again...

The last few weeks of summer have made for some easy mornings.  I'm back to only driving 20 minutes to work and not having to be in till 9am has made for a late alarm:)  Untill school started that is.  Cale's bus arrived at 7:10am, which means it's barely light out when we get up.  Well I enjoyed the life of liesure for a little while anyway.  I wish you a great 7th grade year kiddo.  I hope that you study hard and learn lots.  I hope you get all the best teachers and that you don't sit next to all of your friends - all of the time, maybe just lunch!  Your growing up and I hope that you remember to be respectful and polite and smile lots.

Day 5

Another great day in paradise although I burned my buns a bit.  Today we went back to Jumbie Bay and stayed almost all day.  Jack and I snorkeled a bit and saw some pretty cool fish.  The boys mostly played in the surf.   

Then lunch out of the back of the Jeep and off to some exploring.  We dove over to Leinster Bay and Mase, Cale and I walked a trail while Jack and Ross sat on the beach for a little while. 

On the way back to the villa we finally saw the wild donkeys, stopped to pick up pizza and made it home to see a beautiful sunset.

Awe...day 4. Vacation is almost over

Today was Ross's official birthday and he wanted to hang around the villa...so Dad and he played around for a while...then he, Mason and Cale played cards.  We had some poolside visitors, I think the boys said their were 3 of them.  Then we all headed to Cinnamon Bay for a few hours.  Then off to Cruz Bay for some window shopping and ice cream.  We came home for a taco dinner and birthday cake with matches for candles!
